I actually got a chance to listen to her give a little talk at the Seattle Green Fest a couple years back. That was my first introduction to her and her great works. While there we purchased and had her sign The Art of Simple Food. Looking back I wish I would have known more about her at the time.
Go ahead and actually send her this little note. People in those postitions need a pat on the back from time to time!
